Adding some colour to my Batman fan art which was sketched on paper first and then inked and painted in Photoshop. Batman is my favorite character to draw not just from all the DC universe but from all comics in general.
My art style is inspired by artists like Alex Toth, Jack Kirby and Darwyn Cooke and production artists of Batman the Animated Series like Bruce Timm.
In this illustration I try to add my own personal visual style and take on the character, keeping a cartoony, minimalist feel and going for a strong dynamic pose and composition.
